My 2-year-old daughter has just recently been diagnosed with Schwartz-Jampel. Two weeks ago she had a cold and would run a fever at night. She had definite improvement in the way she moved. She did great with getting up and walking. She was hardly stiff at all. As soon as she stopped running the fever, though, she has been worse. She always has good days and bad days, but she has been pretty bad every day for over a week now, very stiff in the morning and then real weak the rest of the day.
